Amber's Class for Saturday

I have been fiddling with my layout this morning and I have taken a new photo in a better light!  It gives you a much better idea of the colours :-)

You will need:

Your usual scrapping tools
A Paper Distresser or sandpaper (some will be available on the tool table)
Starlight Black Ink
Navy Blue Ink (although this will be available on the tool table)
Glossy Accents or similar
A 7x5 portrait photo

Fiona's class for Saturday 2nd June 2012

Completed on a 16"x12"  canvas lots of layers and distressing, but no scrunching, it's not as tricky as it looks!!!!
 You wil need 3  6"x4" photos, 2 of which are landscape and one portrait, you will also need an inkpad in Oasis Green or one similar, copper krylon pen or copper inkpad, wet glue, silicone glue, distressing tool or sandpaper.
Dies for title and flower will be available on the tool table.

Update for Fi's class

Okay, I have now nearly completed my class and yes you are going to kill me! Lots of layers and distressing, no scrumpling, a liitle bit of tearing but not a single stamp has been used.................yet!!!! However, I have used nearly all 4 sheets of paper- just weeny scraps left. I have used 3 coloured photos-2 landscape and one portrait and they are 6"x4", however you could use black and white.
Planning on making cupcakes and sticky willies to help you on your way!!!!
Photo of class will be up once everything has been stuck down!

12 Hour Crop 2nd June 2012

Hi ladies just getting my class ready for our 12 hour crop and thought I would let you know some of the stash you may want to collect before you arrive.

You will need 3 4x6 black and white portrait photos that can be trimmed, however I might be using a 7x5 photo and some smaller ones; can't find what I am looking for because I have been decorating and have moved all my stash and stored everything very safely! You will also need a distressing tool, copper krylon pen or a copper inkpad, a turquoise green chalk inkpad-I am using a Versamagic pad in Oasis Green. You will also need silicone glue, wet glue and 3D gloss.

My papers are in turquoise, and yellow tones and the 'layout', will be on a 12x16 canvas.

If I use anything else I will let you know!

Here is my class for Saturday's crop. The centre of the layout lifts up as a flap giving you a ton of places for photos. The photo that I have on the front is a 7x5 that I have cut down to fit my layout.

Glossy accents (optional)
A pen to doodle with
and a shed load of photos/memorobilia

On one of my recent internet surfing sessions, whilst feeding the baby, I stumbled across a really cute little mini album. It was so cute that I decided to recreate it for you as a class, well my interpretation of it anyway. So here it is, it will be available in 2 colourways: an orangey one and a purpley one (limited numbers of both).

To complete it you will need:

10 wallet size photos (although it will take 10 more that are passport sized)
Lightening Black Ink
Double sided tape
and your usual tool kit

However, you will need a 7x5 landscape photo plus 2 smaller photos that can be cut down to
4 3/4" x 3 1/2". These smaller photos are hidden under a flap. You will also need a Lightning Black inkpad but you could ink in black or dark brown.

Hi ladies, here is my layout for the next crop on May 7th.
I have used lovely scrummy paper from Echo Park's- Bella Road Collection. We are going to ink, stamp, scrunch, distress and stick, or if you prefer- just leave it all flat and stick it down!!! For this layout you will need a 7x5 landscape photo, Lightning Black inkpad, mini foam pads, double sided tape and some Bostik or something that will adhere buttons plus the usual scrapping tools.

Fi's class for Saturday 12th February

A Canterbury Tale

Saturday's class is a mini album measuring 8"x6" and holds 7 photos landscape or portrait-you may need to trim those portrait piccies! Colours used are brown, red ,cream and blue. To assemble the album we will be using a Bind-it-All machine-simples!!!
To complete album you will need the following items as well as the usual tools:

• Dark blue chalk ink
• lightning black or dark brown ink pad
• 7 6x4 photos
• Words and quotes to suit the theme of your album-mine celebrates my daughter's graduation some of the words I used will be included in your kit
• Glue
• Some swirly stamps -some are available on the tool table

Just Adorable

Next week's class by me- Fi!!! Titled 'Just Adorable' available in shades of brown and orange! A scary layout for me just because it's not blues. greens and browns!!!!
For this layout you will need :

• a dark brown inkpad,
  
• some 3D gloss,
• small foam pads
• 7x5 portrait photo (but this layout will work with a 7x5 landscape or 2 landscape 6x4 photos )

Sorry ladies bit of a delay in his month's creative department- I'm blaming Year 6 and a new baby!!! Layout under construction and will be with you very soon-promise. Sue has been nagging me! Lots of nagging but World War II has taken priority as has 6 religions of the world and a talking textile! However, I can tell you that the papers are bluey grey and cream with a little bit of brown, kind of vintage looking with a bit of sparkle! My title is 'Joseph' and I'm using a baby photo , L/O would suit black and white photos very well. You will need a 7x5 landscape photo and a dark brown inkpad-of course, also some 3D gloss, and a pokey tool.
