You will need a black ink pad. You can use a 7 x 5 photo, two 6 x 4 photos, or four small photos like mine.

Want to make our fun photo props? - our moustaches are made from card with a straw threaded through and the eyebrows complete the picture!

Sue's class for June's crop

My photo is 5 x 7.5, you could easily use a 7 x 5 or two 6x4 portrait photos instead.

I used a lightning black inkpad.

Fiona's class for June's crop

You will need a 7"x5" portrait photo plus 3 others that can be cut to 3x4" one of which to be landscape. Yep its a multi photo layout, distressed, scrunched, scratched and inked. May include stamping!!
You will need foam pads, scratchy tool distressing tool white gel pen black inkpad and gold ink plus usual scrapping tools of mass construction. See you soon x

Amber's Class for June Crop

Here is my class for next Saturday.  You will need:

Your usual scrapping tools

Paper distresser

Glossy accents or similar

Diamond stickles (if you don't fancy queuing at the tool table)

And a 5x7 portrait photo that will be chopped slightly

I think that covers everything

Birthday crop 1st June

Our next crop is on Saturday 1st June and as it is the crop birthday we have a special extended day.

There are two options for you...the normal 10am to 4pm at £6.50, or all 12 hours from 10am to 10pm for £10.00.

There will be three classes during the day (cost around £6 each). The layouts will be on the blog shortly at http://scrapbus.blogspot.co.uk/

There is a fab raffle with lots of prizes (free ticket with entry fee) and Fiona will be offering a limited edition masterclass to make porcelain roses (more details to follow). We are also launching our circle journal project - find out more at the crop!

Please bring your own lunch and tea. We will do a fish and chip run in the evening for those interested.

Saturday's class April 6th

Sicily the mini album

 Okay Scrappers here is my class for Saturday's crop April 6th 2013.

It's a folding mini album that will hold 6 small wallet sized photos but you could fit more photos inside and they could be larger, but the album measures just over 6" square. It's a great size if you want to put in photos that are based on a theme. Mine has photos from a holiday in Sicily.

For this class you will need to get your distressy heads on, I have even distressed my photos! However some of you find this very difficult so you can leave it flat!

 You will need PVA or wet glue of choice, distressing tools- to achieve the very rough look my album has I used a Distrezzing tool which is electric and extremely noisy so I wont be bringing that; a poky tool, red and lightning black/gold inkpads, if you have a gold Krylon pen that will be useful-would have used mine but sadly mine has dried up, so I expect Amber will make me buy a new one from her!!!! You will also need some 3D gloss, swirly stamps would be useful but there are some on the tool table, a small tag punch but again I will bring mine. 

Fonts for title are available to use on tool table  for mine I used Quickutz 'Washington.' Simples!!!

Sue's class for 2nd March crop

You will need two 6 x 4 photos and usual toolkit...no ink on this layout!

February's class from Fiona

 

You will need a pink inkpad-chalk pad gives a softer colour, foam pads,distressing tool-of course, a photo that can be cut to 4 1/2" square and  

another 5 1/2" x 4 1/2". Some mini alphabet letters and Stickles would be useful but there are some on the tool tabl, plus the usual tools essential for scrapping.

Weather update!

It is wet and windy in Newport but no snow and ice. The crop will therefore go ahead as planned.
