7 x 5 landscape photo

Amber's Class for Saturday 7th November 2009

Hole punch/cropadile
Paper piercer
Needle
Foam Pads
Fine liner pen to journal with
The usual scrap crap; trimmer, scissors, glue etc...

I have used 1 7x5 landscape photo that has been cut down to roughly 6x4.

November crop

Our next crop is on Saturday November 7th 2009

There will be two classes during the day (class fees are additional to entrance fee and are usually £3to£5)

We have a challenge for you this month.....to create a layout using night photos. You may prepare your journalling etc before the day but it must all be put together during the crop. There are some lovely prizes up for grabs so why not give it a go!

Hi there,
Not too much needed in the tool dept for this one, you'll need;

Three 4x6 portrait photo's that can be trimmed a little.
Brown ink pad.
Your usual tool kit, trimmer, scissor's wet glue etc.

'It's all in the details'

For this class you will need to bring:

A 7 x 5 portrait photo

Photos that can be trimmed to highlight the details...either other photos of the day....or zoomed bits of the main photo. Mine are trimmed to three 2x2 photos and one 4x2 photo.

An antique gold ink pad. I used 'Lightening Black' (there is one on the tool table)

There will be two classes during the day (class fees are additional to entrance fee and are usually £3 to £5) which are taught this month by Julia and Sue.

Our challenge this month will be to create a layout using Autumnal colours..so dig out the oranges and browns! Remember that while you may prepare before the day, the total layout must be created during the crop.

Fiona has created this lovely paper-bag book for us for her class on Saturday

You will need to bring:
Your normal tools (trimmer, scissors, pencil)
A cropadile (preferred weapon of choice) or hole punch (there is one cropadile on the tool table)
Brown ink
Wet glue
Approx 8 wallet size photos- portrait one's would work best but not that essential
Stamps to embellish your book (again there are some on the tool table)

Here is my class for this saturday's crop. To complete this you will need:

Dusky pink ink (I used Versa Magic Pink Petunia)
A 7x5 landscape photo (mine has been cropped so you could bring any size an crop it down)
Stamps and blue ink provided in class

June Crop - Bassaleg 6th June

Scrapbus will hold it's June crop on Saturday 6th June 10am - 4pm in Bassaleg. There will be two optional classes - designed by Fiona and Julia this month.

With Fathers Day approaching our challenge this month is to do a masculine LO. It doesn't have to be about fathers - any man will do! - or you could simply use colours we associate with the male of the species.

This is Fiona's class for Saturday's crop.

No kit list yet - but I am guessing a brown fine-liner pen, a dark brown inkpad and your usual kit.

Class for 4th of April Crop.

Park Life

Ladies, this will be one of the classes on offer at our next crop. The cost of this class will be £4.00.

The template for the title will be included but if you need a different title please leave me a message and I will try to accomodate you.

Equipment you will need;

trimmer, scissors etc

Three 4x6 portrait photo's-2 of which can be slightly cropped.

Lightning black or black ink.

Olive green ink.

Our next crop with be on 4th April and we are back at Bassaleg.

2 classes this month from Julia and Fiona (cost £3-£4)

Challenge: Create a layout/mini-book using Easter colours (eg green/yellow/pastel pinks/pastel blues). The project can be on any theme (i.e. does not need to be easter). You may bring printed journalling etc but the project must be completed during the day.

For this class you will need:

7 x 5 portrait photo (although this layout will work with a landscape photo)
A rose coloured ink (not too pink!) ...I used Tim Holtz Tattered Rose distress ink
A glue stick or strong glue for adhering beads and buttons
Usual tools

You do not have to have the same title as me...we will be using Robo-cop to cut your titles.
