December crop 2012

This reminds me of that old joke:

What do you call a deer with no eyes?        No idea.

What do you call a deer with no eyes and no legs?      Still no idea.

Well, it makes me laugh!!

Scrapbus would like to wish all our fellow croppers a very merry Christmas. Hope Santa brings you something nice.

Sorry for the delay ladies.  I tried putting this up last night but had some technical issues!  Here is my layout for saturday.  You will need:

Your usual scrap tools
A paper distresser (what else these days)
I did use a little bit of lightening black ink
A paper piercer
A needle
Repositionable glue
A 7x5 portrait photograph

December crop - 1st December - Fiona's class

Fiona's class comes in two parts. Part one is this lovely layout.

You will need:
2 photos - one landscape and one portrait
lightning black ink
aqua ink

Part 2 is the matching mini-book for which you will need 6-12 wallet sized small photos, wet glue and 3d gloss (e.g. diamond glaze).

Love My Boy

Here is my class for Saturday's crop;

A lovely simple layout to complete.  I have used a 5x7 portrait photo.  You will need your usual scrapping tools, lightening black ink and I have used a paper distresser.

Because I couldn't let you get away with just completing a simple layout I have also made a mini book from the left overs!  Same tools apply but i've also used some glossy accents on this mini project.

Charming, Blessed, Beautiful

Hello ladies here is a quick preview of my class for this Saturday- it's not quite finished just needs a little faffing and tweaking.

For this layout you will need a 7x5 landscape photo, brown and lightning black inkpads,  1/2" circle punch, foam pads, glossy accents or similar 3D gloss, stapler, distressing tool of choice!

This layout uses the My Minds Eye 'The Sweetest Thing' paper range. You will need a 7"x5" photo though you could use 2 6"x4" portrait photos too. You will also need a dark brown ink such as Pinecone.

Hi ladies here is my class for next crop using some beautiful new papers by Carta Bella, great for those vintage photos and fabulous for some gentle distressing!

You will need a 7"x 5"portrait photo, Lightning Black or black inkpad, some 3D foam pads or silicone glue a distressing tool or sharp scissors, plus the usual scrapping tools.

Amber's Class for Saturday

I have been fiddling with my layout this morning and I have taken a new photo in a better light!  It gives you a much better idea of the colours :-)

You will need:

Your usual scrapping tools
A Paper Distresser or sandpaper (some will be available on the tool table)
Starlight Black Ink
Navy Blue Ink (although this will be available on the tool table)
Glossy Accents or similar
A 7x5 portrait photo

Retreat

Fiona's class for Saturday 2nd June 2012

Completed on a 16"x12"  canvas lots of layers and distressing, but no scrunching, it's not as tricky as it looks!!!!
 You wil need 3  6"x4" photos, 2 of which are landscape and one portrait, you will also need an inkpad in Oasis Green or one similar, copper krylon pen or copper inkpad, wet glue, silicone glue, distressing tool or sandpaper.
Dies for title and flower will be available on the tool table.

Update for Fi's class

Okay, I have now nearly completed my class and yes you are going to kill me! Lots of layers and distressing, no scrumpling, a liitle bit of tearing but not a single stamp has been used.................yet!!!! However, I have used nearly all 4 sheets of paper- just weeny scraps left. I have used 3 coloured photos-2 landscape and one portrait and they are 6"x4", however you could use black and white.
Planning on making cupcakes and sticky willies to help you on your way!!!!
Photo of class will be up once everything has been stuck down!
